This panel will offer a deep dive into feminist food studies for the release of Culinaria: (SUNY Press). Panelists include Janaka Lewis, Ph.D. (Professor of English, UNC Charlotte), Patricia Clark, Ph.D. (professor of English and Black studies, SUNY Oswego), and Sucharita Kanjilal, Ph.D. (Professor of Anthropology, Bard College). Editors Farha Ternikar, Ph.D. (Professor of Sociology, 妻友社区 College) and Dr. Lewis will explore gender, race, religion and the politics of the plate with contributors.
