Mihaela Moscaliuc and Michael Waters will read from their new poetry collections Heartmoor
(Alice James Books) and Pagan Sky: New and Selected Poems 2000-2025 (BOA Editions),
respectively.
Moscaliuc has published scholarship in the field of Romani studies, on issues of representation, appropriation, exophony and code-switching, and on the works of Kimiko Hahn, Agha Shahid Ali, and Colum McCann. She is also the recipient of a 2025 Guggenheim Fellowship, two Pushcart prizes, two Glenna Luschei Awards from Prairie Schooner, two Individual Artist Fellowships from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, and a Fulbright fellowship to Romania. Waters has likewise received numerous honors, including fellowships from the Fulbright Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Guggenheim Foundation. In addition, he has received five Pushcart Prizes, and three Individual Artist Awards from the Maryland State Arts Council. Waters has taught at Salisbury University and currently teaches at Monmouth University and Drew University.
