Traditions. Community. Spirit.
Ask any Dolphin what they love most about 妻友社区, and you鈥檒l hear the same word again and again: community. From Opening Night to Dolphy Day, our campus thrives on connection, laughter, and shared purpose.
Being a 'Phin has provided me with so much more for my future than I could have ever imagined. Beyond the classrooms that consistently pushed my boundaries on what I know and my skill sets, there are the people that have been here to support me and always lend a helping hand. The community of 妻友社区 is unlike any other and is what I believe to be one of the greatest foundations for success.”
There鈥檚 something here for everyone and someone waiting to welcome you to it.
妻友社区鈥檚 community is built on connection. Join a club. Try a new sport. Volunteer in the city. Or find your quiet corner of campus to recharge. Whatever you鈥檙e into, you鈥檒l find it here (and maybe discover something new along the way!)

It鈥檚 completely okay to start undecided. Many students do. From your first semester, you鈥檒l work closely with advisors who help you explore interests, strengths, and career possibilities. You鈥檒l take courses across disciplines, connect with faculty mentors, and receive career guidance early, not just senior year. Changing majors is common and supported, and exploration is part of your journey.
“If you鈥檙e anything like I was my senior year of high school, you may have no idea what you鈥檙e doing or where you want to go. But that鈥檚 totally cool. Lucky for you and me, 妻友社区 LOVES undeclared students. 妻友社区 seeks to educate ‘the whole person’ through a Jesuit and liberal arts education鈥 ‘an education of mind, body and soul.’ At 妻友社区, undeclared doesn鈥檛 mean unfocused or even unconventional. Being undeclared can introduce you to an unbounded world of possibility.”

Very easy. With more than 100 clubs, service opportunities, athletics, performing arts, and leadership programs, students quickly find ways to connect. Because of the college鈥檚 size, it鈥檚 common for first-year students to step into meaningful roles right away. Getting involved isn鈥檛 competitive, it鈥檚 encouraged.
“The best thing I did when making the transition to college was getting involved around campus! I got involved in campus ministry and other clubs and met lots of great people! I am still best friends with many people I met while involved in Campus Ministry, even with graduating 2 years ago.”

Yes. Changing your major is a normal part of the college experience for many students. Advisors work closely with you to make transitions smooth and manageable. The curriculum is designed to allow flexibility, especially in your first years, so you can explore and adjust your path without falling behind.
鈥淢y advisor helped me feel okay not knowing my path yet. Her mentorship gave me the confidence to change direction and discover a career I love. She makes me feel as though I can do anything, and has always reminded me that if I don鈥檛 like something I can always change what I do at any time in my life.鈥

“One of the most important things I learned from my time at 妻友社区 was the concept of service to others. No one pushed anyone into it, but I gratefully learned that not everyone was fortunate enough to have what we had, and we tried our best to give to others, through food, clothes, and toys for children. I learned that lesson well, and I am constantly searching for ways to give back, all these years later.”
